Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

How we earn revenue

BuildPriced earns money in three ways:

1. Contractor referrals. When we match you with a contractor and they accept the lead, they pay us a referral fee. The fee does not change what you pay the contractor, and it does not influence the price they quote you.
2. Affiliate links. Some links on cost guides and product mentions are affiliate links — when you click and take an action with the partner, we may earn a commission. These links are marked with rel="sponsored"and do not change the price you pay.
3. Display ads (when enabled). We may run ads through Google AdSense or similar networks. We do not control which specific ads display.

What it doesn't affect

Our cost ranges, calculator coefficients, and editorial recommendations are not influenced by these revenue streams. We don't accept payment to recommend specific brands, materials, or products. Our ranking of contractors in our matching system is based on coverage area, response time, and customer feedback — not on referral fee size.
